Changes in the association and technical board<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At the general meeting held as part of DSAGLive, the virtual annual congress of the German-speaking SAP User Group e. V. (DSAG), a new position was filled on the association's board. Daniela Meisenheimer was elected as vice chair of the board. In addition, a new technology board member was elected and two board members were confirmed in their positions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the new Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Management Daniela Meisenheimer<\/strong> was elected to the association's board of directors. She is responsible for digital marketing and international corporate communications at D\u00f6hler. In this position, Daniela Meisenheimer succeeds Otto Schell, full-time Enterprise Business Architect - Digital Business Lead\/Global SAP CCoE at Stellantis Group, who did not stand for re-election due to the rolling reappointment of positions. The Association Board is responsible for the overall strategic development of DSAG.<\/p>

The following persons were appointed to the office of Chief Technology Officer Sebastian Westphal<\/strong> elected. His main job is Global Head of ERP Operations and Transformation at Swiss Post Solutions. He succeeds Steffen Pietsch, who has stepped down from this position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Confirmed for a further term of office were Hermann-Josef Haag<\/strong> as Head of Human Resources and Public Sector. In his main job, he is responsible for the Customer Center of Expertise of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Office of Finance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also re-elected was Michael Moser<\/strong> as Chief Production and Supply Chain Management Officer. His main job is as CIO for IT at the cheese dairy Champignon Hofmeister. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the change or election of Daniela Meisenheimer as Deputy Chairwoman of the Executive Board, the position of Chief Marketing and Sales Officer is currently vacant and will be filled at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Chip Childers joins Puppet<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Chip Childers<\/strong> was announced as the new chief architect of Puppet. Childers has more than 20 years of technology experience in large-scale computing and open source software. He has very deep knowledge of the vast cloud-native ecosystem and will play a central role in supporting Puppet's research and development team to achieve its platform and product goals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"The infrastructure automation space has high growth potential, and Puppet's independence and brand credibility were the main reasons for my decision to take on this role<\/em>\", says Childers. \"I am very excited to join Puppet and help shape the next generation of products and services that will lead our customers into the future.<\/em>\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Childers co-founded the Cloud Foundry Foundation, where he served as Chief Technology Officer for more than five years. In 2020, he assumed the role of Executive Director, previously held by Puppet's CTO Abby Kearns. Earlier in his career, Childers was Vice President of Product Strategy at CumuLogic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Partner and Alliances Manager at Red Hat<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ren\u00e9 Reiter<\/strong> will join the Red Hat team in Austria as Partner and Alliances Manager and will be primarily responsible for the further development of business with partners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WU Vienna graduate has gained a wide range of experience in the domestic IT industry in the past. He worked for many years at IBM in Austria and Germany in various sales and management positions. He then moved to Microsoft, where he held the position of Service Sales Manager. In 2020, he began his career at Red Hat as Partner Account Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reiter is looking forward to his new position at Red Hat with great pleasure and optimism and wants to continue the successful path of the last few years, but also open a new chapter of cooperation with partners in Austria. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The principles of open source have prevailed. Many of the current innovations in areas such as hybrid cloud, edge computing and IT automation, and therefore the basis of future digitalization, are based on open source projects. This means that the basis of the Red Hat business model, namely open source as a central cornerstone, has arrived in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAP appoints Chief Investor Relations Officer<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Anthony Coletta<\/strong> will be the new Chief Investor Relations Officer at SAP. He succeeds Stefan Gruber, who has decided to take a career break and would like to take on a new role outside SAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"I am delighted that Anthony Coletta will be taking on the very important role of Chief Investor Relations Officer. He has in-depth knowledge of our cloud transformation and all aspects of our performance and governance models. Over the course of his career, he has acquired the ideal qualifications for this position<\/em>\" said Luka Mucic, SAP's chief financial officer. \"Our thanks go to Stefan Gruber, who has successfully led the Investor Relations team since 2003 and who has played a decisive role in shaping the financial markets' view of SAP. He leaves behind a very stable foundation on which his successor can build.<\/em>\" <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coletta joined SAP in 2006 and is currently Chief Financial Officer for North America. Previously, he held several CFO positions in the Americas region and was Chief Controlling Officer (CCO) of Global Sales and Global Customer Operations. Prior to SAP, Coletta held various leadership positions in finance and strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Stefan Brotzler<\/strong> the Siemens subsidiary Mendix has added an experienced manager to its German sales team: Brotzler has been driving forward the DACH business as Director Enterprise Sales for the industrial sector since the beginning of July. His focus is on low-code applications for manufacturing companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Ronny Winkler<\/strong> is responsible for corporate communications at ProAlpha. In this position, his main focus is on expanding and strengthening both internal and external communication. Internally, his agenda includes issues such as greater transparency and interaction, and externally media relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Manfred Travnicek<\/strong> is the new Senior Account Executive at Modelyzr. The expert in the development and implementation of go-to-market strategies comes from SAP, where he already got to know the Modelyzr solution from a user perspective. His role at the company is to drive forward internationalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Bert Schaap<\/strong> was appointed CEO of Devoteam Germany. In addition to the strategic development of the company and close cooperation with customers, Schaap's main focus is on the workforce. In his new position, he is committed to supporting employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Veit Br\u00fccker<\/strong> becomes Vice President Central Europe at Zuora. Br\u00fccker can draw on many years of experience in the areas of technology, sales and consulting for his new role - the last eight years focused on customer experience management. Prior to Zuora, he worked at Salesforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Klaus Seifert<\/strong> is the new Head of Strategy for Europe and Chief Business Officer for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) at Mindtree. He has more than two decades of experience in sales and business development in various industries.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
