Die SAP hat am 20. April dieses Jahres bekannt gegeben, dass Co-CEO und Vorstandsmitglied Christian Klein (39) alleine die Funktion als Chief Executive Officer (Vorstandssprecher) \u00fcbernehmen wird. Co-CEO Jennifer Morgan (48) hat sich mit dem Aufsichtsrat der SAP einvernehmlich darauf verst\u00e4ndigt, das Unternehmen zum 30. April 2020 zu verlassen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innerhalb von etwas mehr als einem Jahr hat SAP den Abgang von zahlreichen Vorst\u00e4nden zu verarbeiten: Bernd Leukert, Robert Enslin, Bill McDermott, Stefan Ries und Michael Kleinemeier. <\/p>

Die damit verbundenen Reorganisationen sind noch lange nicht abgeschlossen, da verl\u00e4sst Jennifer Morgan nicht \u00fcberraschend, aber zu einem ungew\u00f6hnlichen Zeitpunkt das Unternehmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der geniale Christian Klein wird Vorstandssprecher und mit seiner jungen Truppe aus Vorstandskollegen \u2013 J\u00fcrgen M\u00fcller und Thomas Saueressig \u2013 hart arbeiten m\u00fcssen, denn allen fehlt es an Erfahrung. Christian Klein hat als Mentor den Ex-SAP-Vorstand und jetzigen SAP-Aufsichtsrat Gerd Oswald \u2013 ob das ausreicht?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neben der wichtigen Personalfrage bleibt zu beantworten: Warum kommt es immer wieder zu diesen Verwerfungen und Baustellen im SAP-Vorstand? Treiber und Entscheider in diesem Kommen und Gehen ist Hasso Plattner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Als Gro\u00dfaktion\u00e4r, Mitgr\u00fcnder und Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender hat er administrativ und moralisch das Recht, seine SAP auch \u00fcber diese Personalentscheidungen zu f\u00fchren. Bekannt ist, dass Hasso Plattner privat wie beruflich ein Freund der amerikanischen Unternehmens- und Lebenskultur ist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seine zahlreichen Wohnsitze in den USA sind ein Beweis daf\u00fcr. Aber auch bei der Auswahl des Topmanagements f\u00fcr SAP zeigt Plattner immer wieder eine hohe Affinit\u00e4t zu den USA: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dazu z\u00e4hlen die Ex-Technikvorst\u00e4nde Shai Agassi und Vishal Sikka, der SuccessFactors-Gr\u00fcnder Lars Dalgaard sowie Adaire Fox-Martin, Jennifer Morgan und nat\u00fcrlich Bill McDermott. SAP ist ein globales IT-Unternehmen, aber kein amerikanischer Konzern, sondern eine zutiefst europ\u00e4ische Firma. Es war seit \u00fcber einem halben Jahr ein offenes Geheimnis bei SAP, dass sich Jennifer Morgan auf einem steilen Karrierepfad nach oben befand und SAP bestenfalls eine erfolgreiche Zwischenstufe sein w\u00fcrde. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Damit war es ein strategischer Fehler, nach dem Amerikaner Bill McDermott sofort wieder eine Amerikanerin an die Spitze von SAP zu setzen. Jennifer Morgan ist \u00e4hnlich wie Christian Klein brillant.
